About
With a holistic approach to counseling, Lauren honors the full complexity of each person, rather than focusing on surface-level symptoms alone. She believes that meaningful healing happens when understanding why challenges exist, not just how to manage them. Lauren's therapeutic approach centers around a holistic model utilizing Internal Family Systems (IFS), Adlerian Psychodynamic Theory, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Family Systems. She works with clients to explore the influences in their lives most affecting their overall functioning, encouraging individuals and families to evaluate and understand the impact of parenting, birth order, lifestyle, career, relationships, and life experiences. With a strong emphasis on social interest, Lauren's practice is guided by the principles of paying it forward, empathy, and compassion. She has counseled clients with grief and trauma experiences throughout her career and continues to see clients on telehealth while running the day-to-day operations of the practice from Coastal Mississippi, where she resides with her family.
