LARC, located in Lansing, Illinois, is a private not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing developmentally disabled adults with opportunities to work, live, and participate in their community. Originally formed in 1956 as a school for children with developmental disabilities, LARC has grown to provide services and supports to approximately 100 individuals across the Chicagoland Area. Their mission is to pave pathways through individualized supports and services so people with intellectual and developmental disabilities can experience a self-directed lifestyle.
