fosters a faith-based inclusive community where adults with and without intellectual disabilities live together in companionship, transformation, and belonging. The organization creates a more human society where people with and without intellectual disabilities share life together. They welcome difference and celebrate the unique gifts of all people, recognizing their need for one another. L'Arche GWDC offers lifelong homes to people with intellectual disabilities, models inclusion, trains up leaders, responds to the changing needs of their core members, and grows in their faith and spirituality. They are people with and without intellectual disabilities, sharing life in communities belonging to the International Federation of L'Arche. Mutual relationships and trust in God are at the heart of their journey together.
