Founded by Karen Paulsen Littig, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor, the practice targets clients over the age of 11. KPL Counseling provides a judgement-free environment to help clients cope with various issues, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, bullying, sexual identity, grief, trauma, mood and personality disorders, relationships, and parenting. With adaptable hours, including evenings, Saturdays, and holidays, clients can reach Karen via text or email between sessions and schedule tele-therapy by computer video or phone. Karen's approach focuses on building trust and identifying client issues, setting mutually-agreed upon attainable goals, and empowering clients to achieve success through smaller increments, which builds confidence and motivates them to achieve more.
Insurance & payment
KPL Counseling Ltd. accepts most private health insurances, including Aetna, Anthem, BlueCross and BlueShield, Humana, Medicaid, Optum, United Medical Resources (UMR), and UnitedHealthcare UHC | UBH. Clients also have the option to self-pay or submit the bill themselves to their insurance company.
