At Kindering, we are committed to providing superior, individualized, family-centered services for children with special needs and those at-risk for over 58 years. Founded in 1962 by five Bellevue-area mothers of children with disabilities, Kindering is the largest early intervention center in Washington State, one of the three largest centers in the nation, and the most comprehensive. We are dedicated to helping children with special needs reach their developmental milestones by providing physical occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, feeding therapy, special education and other early intervention programming. In addition, Kindering provides support to the entire family through programs such as: Mothers Circle, Fathers Network, Sibshops, kinship and foster care services, parent education, and a sense of community. As the demand for our services continues to grow, we strive to provide the important special education and therapies that children and families need.
