KEEN Greater DC, is a nonprofit organization focused on providing free recreational activities to children and young adults with disabilities. Our organization pairs trained volunteers with participants, in order to bring out each individual’s self-confidence and talents while enjoying non-competitive, fun activities. We strive to build the recreational skills and talents of all participants, enabling them to take part in a variety of recreational activities and environments. Our mission is to empower these individuals, and create a safe, inclusive and accessible space for them to explore and grow.
