She has worked in various settings, including residential and afterschool programs, as well as a step-down crisis center. Kelsey has a focus on helping clients navigate complex trauma, developmental disabilities, neurodiversity, and involvement with the justice system. Her work includes supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and those from the LGBTQIA community. With children, Kelsey often focuses on regulation to address what she calls Big Baffling Behaviors. She also works with adults, helping them process trauma and develop strategies for setting boundaries and sharing traumatic experiences. Kelsey's therapeutic style is grounded in trauma-informed care, embodiment, mindfulness, attachment theory, and a strengths-based perspective informed by neuroscience and current research. She aims to create a warm, humorous, and engaging environment for her clients.
