Dr. Kelly O'Connor is a clinical psychologist with a passion for enhancing the innate resilience of children, teens, young adults, and families to help them overcome stressors and challenging life circumstances. With over 7 years of experience in various settings, including community- and hospital-based outpatient mental health clinics, Dr. O'Connor has worked with patients to address difficulties associated with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, behavioral difficulties, interpersonal and family conflict, and more. She has specialized training to work with young people with behavioral difficulties, ADHD, and trauma, and is committed to helping them see their own value and worth and envision a brighter future for themselves. Dr. O'Connor's research focuses on promoting resilience and ability to cope among teens, and she has received funding from the National Institutes of Health to support her work. She currently conducts research in a hospital-based violence intervention program, which connects individuals who are violently injured to support services that can prevent them from being harmed by violence ever again. Dr. O'Connor offers online therapy services to patients in 39 PSYPACT states, including GA, MD, DC, PA, and VA, using evidence-based treatments to address their top presenting concerns.
