Using evidence-based techniques such as CBT, EMDR, and Gottman for couples therapy, Karla aims to provide guidance, encouragement, and understanding to help her clients achieve their goals and feel better in a shorter amount of time. She has experience working with individuals, families, teens-young adults, couples, and couples seeking mediation during a divorce, as well as Christian Counseling. Karla also enjoys working with people who are seeking counseling for life changes, work-related stressors, parental coaching, and grief. Having earned her Psychology degree at UAA and lived in Anchorage for nearly 10 years, Karla has a deep understanding of the unique experiences and challenges that come with living in Alaska.
