About
The practice provides a safe and warm environment for clients to explore the ways in which past events affect them in the present, enhancing quality of life and examining barriers to forward movement. Kara Sanford, the counselor, works with a broad range of clients, including adult individuals, couples, teens, and families, on various issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relational problems, addiction, and life stress. She specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including those who have survived sexual, physical, or emotional abuse, and has a passion for working with those who have experienced trafficking, domestic violence, the death of friends or family, abandonment, and other traumatic events.
