She takes a collaborative, anti-oppressive, and person-centered approach in her work, drawing on theories such as Relational Systems Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. Kamarie is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Counseling at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, with an expected graduation date of May 2026 and an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is working under the supervision of experienced therapists Jennah Benson and Shannon Doherty.
