Founded by Kalie Ann Midcap, LPC, LSC, the practice provides a compassionate and personalized approach to counseling. Kalie's expertise lies in anxiety, behavioral issues, body image, career counseling, and child development. She blends evidence-based practices with a whole-person lens, incorporating mindfulness, nature-based metaphors, and expressive techniques into her sessions. This approach helps clients build self-awareness, regulate emotions, and reconnect with purpose. At Wandering Counseling, therapy feels human, not clinical, and is designed to meet clients where they are – emotionally and geographically. Kalie's passion for helping others began on the snowy slopes, teaching snowboarding to youth, and she has since worked in schools and nonprofits across Colorado, supporting teens and building middle school counseling programs. With a warm and nonjudgmental approach, Kalie helps clients create small, meaningful shifts that lead to big change over time. Whether navigating stress, emotional overwhelm, or life transitions, Wandering Counseling provides a safe space for individuals to rediscover their direction and find their footing.
