About
She creates a warm, welcoming, and safe therapy space for her clients to express themselves authentically. Julie's primary focus is using non-directive Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) to work with clients aged 3-13, and a client-centered approach with teens, incorporating various modalities based on their needs and readiness. She is trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, CCPT, Child Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), and the CAMS model of suicide prevention. Julie offers a free 1-hour initial consultation to parents to ensure that her approach is the right fit for each child or teen. She believes in meeting her clients where they are, as they are, and working with each person as a whole human being, acknowledging their complexities. Julie's goal is to provide a space for her clients to experience laughter, tears, anger, joy, grief, pain, and more, while fostering authenticity, genuine connection, and shared journey.
