About
She specializes in helping individuals and families understand behaviors and dynamics to flourish. Julie uses creative methods, such as art, games, sand trays, and toys, to help clients learn new skills and grow. Her experience includes working with children as young as 2 years old, particularly those with autism or other developmental needs, and individuals with anxiety, trauma, depression, and adoption issues. Julie also helps families improve communication and dynamics. Her unique approach involves using her dogs to create a welcoming atmosphere and reduce anxiety in sessions. As an adoptive parent of three teenagers and a foster parent of over 40 teens, Julie brings a wealth of personal experience to her work. She has also worked with the Native American population in Gallup, NM, and has a passion for learning about new cultures and thinking outside the box.
