She specializes in working with children, teens, and their families, and has expertise in areas such as adoption, anger management, anxiety, boundary setting, chronic illness, chronic pain, co-parenting after separation or divorce, cultural adjustments, depression, divorce recovery, family relationships, grief, life transitions, parent-child relationships, marriage, pre-marital counseling, spirituality, and young adult transitions into adulthood. Julie's approach is to tailor therapy to each person's unique needs, and she is trained in various therapeutic approaches, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and a State of Oklahoma Approved LMFT Supervisor. Julie is originally from Kansas City and moved to Oklahoma to earn her Bachelor of Psychology from Oklahoma Christian University in 2004 and her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University in 2006. She is passionate about helping her clients improve their lives and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for them to grow and heal. Julie's office is located at 10400 N.
