Julianna Foster, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor with a passion for working with individuals, particularly those experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma symptoms. She specializes in helping clients adjust to the foreign service lifestyle and new parents navigate perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. With firsthand experience as a mother, spouse, and Eligible Family Member (EFM) in the foreign service, Julianna understands the complexities of relocating internationally every few years. She combines her training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and perinatal mental health training to create a personalized approach for each client. Julianna's goal is to help clients make necessary changes, learn coping skills, and develop mindfulness practices to lead more fulfilling lives. She offers virtual therapy sessions to clients in Virginia or abroad connected to a US Embassy. With a warm and non-judgmental approach, Julianna creates a safe space for individuals to explore their concerns and work towards their goals.
