About
This creative form of therapy uses music in all its facets to bring about therapeutic change. Juliane Kowski works with clients who struggle with social-emotional challenges due to trauma, life changes, learning challenges, academic/social pressures that can result in anxiety and depression. Music therapy can be a richer and more intuitive experience for adults to explore and cope with anxiety and depression. Juliane uses a variety of drums, percussion instruments, flutes, piano, guitar, and sound-making devices to improvise with clients, allowing them to access unconscious experiences that can then be verbally processed. This approach creates an empathic relationship with the potential for reparative experiences.
