With a history of military service, Dr. Dubin completed his pediatric residence at Michael Reese Hospital and two years of psychiatry residency. He then transferred to the University of Michigan for his adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry residencies. Dr. Dubin later moved to Los Angeles and worked for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health for 10 years and then became an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in the UCLA department of child psychiatry.
