Jon S Poling, MD | Athens

Jon S Poling, MD is a Board Certified neurologist practicing with Athens Neurology since 2001. He completed his Residency training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and was granted a full medical-scientist scholarship to Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. in 1995. He received his MD and PhD degrees in 1997 and conducted electrophysiologic study of ion channels found in living neural membranes with the Georgetown Department of Physiology/Biophysics and the National Institutes of Health. To further his studies in Neurobiology, Dr. Poling attended the 1995 Woods Hole Marine Biological Laboratory. With years of experience in the field, Dr. Poling is dedicated to providing the highest quality care and expertise for his patients.
