Joanna Rodes is a clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience in direct service, clinical, educational, and leadership roles. She has a bachelor's in psychology and master's in social work from the University of Kentucky, achieving LCSW licensure in 2001. Joanna's approach incorporates various practices, including cognitive/behavioral, attachment theory, solution-focussed/brief therapy, mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and clinical hypnosis. She views hypnosis as a powerful tool to explore inner resources and help clients achieve personal transformation. Joanna is happy to provide individual therapy with or without the use of hypnosis. She is a native of Lexington and is involved in various community service activities, including serving as a founder and board member for Bluegrass Families First and an executive committee member for 100 Women.
