Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties (JFS) is a non-profit organization located in Atlantic City, NJ. Our mission is to provide services to strengthen families and empower children/youth to develop the skills to handle everyday stresses, as well as more significant challenges. We are proud to offer our Autistic Spectrum Services Project AWARE, which is funded by United Way of Atlantic County. The project provides community education about Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD), limited no and low-cost evaluations and support for families with children newly diagnosed with ASDs, as well as increasing awareness of autism and related disorders in minority, uninsured, and underinsured families in Atlantic County.
