Jewish Family & Children’s Services (JFCS) has been dedicated to building a strong foundation for resilience and well-being for individuals and families across the lifespan for more than 150 years. We provide an integrated portfolio of over 40 programs to communities throughout Eastern and Central Massachusetts, reaching more than 14,000 people each year. Our staff of 300 employees and 2,200 active volunteers provide personalized, “high-touch” services to those in need, and our data-driven outcomes assessment helps us to continuously improve. Our mission is to care for individuals and families by providing exceptional human services guided by Jewish traditions of social responsibility, compassion, and respect for all members of the community. Our services reach people of all faiths, races, and ages in Greater Boston, on the North Shore, and in Central Massachusetts. Our success is due to the generosity and vision of motivated leaders, dedicated and skillful employees, caring donors, and passionate volunteers. We strive to create an environment that is welcoming of all and celebrates the uniqueness of those we serve, staff, volunteers, donors, and business partners. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are core values of JFCS, and we are committed to actively incorporating inclusive practices and cultural awareness into our work.
