With over 15 years of experience as a clinician, she maintains a private practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Young's therapeutic approach is holistic, connecting all systems and interdependent. She integrates key components of cognitive behavioral, client-centered, insight-oriented, solution-focused, and trauma-informed therapy to tailor her techniques to each individual's specific needs. Her areas of expertise include child and adolescent behavioral/emotional problems stemming from ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. Young also provides therapy to improve relationships, increase self-awareness/acceptance, and learn effective means of coping with life stressors. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), she is committed to helping trauma survivors throughout the recovery process in healing from PTSD, abuse, and other traumatic experiences. Young's goal is to connect with individuals in an authentic and meaningful way, providing hope, empathy, and understanding to internal/external stressors and life's challenges.
