About
She specializes in working with the trans and queer community, focusing on personal healing and collective liberation. With over 20 years of self-study, social and environmental activism, wilderness guiding, group facilitation, body movement education, massage and bodywork, and somatic psychotherapy, Jo'Cai brings a unique approach to healing. She is committed to creating a safe and compassionate space for her clients to explore their embodied experiences and develop awareness of their body's patterns and shape. Jo'Cai's approach views the strategies used to survive as adaptive and smart, rather than as disorders. She works with clients to develop new practices that will serve them in the long run, helping them shift what is stuck and make possible what they long for. Jo'Cai is located in the stolen and ancestral lands of the Lisjan Ohlone Peoples, and she continues to grow a humble and reverent relationship with the lands, people, animals, plants, water, sky, and unseen beings.
