At Jeffrey G M D., our founder Dr. Demain is a Clinical Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and Adjunct Professor at the University of Alaska. He is a recognized national and international speaker with expertise in allergy, asthma, and immunology. He founded the Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Center of Alaska in 1998 and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, Alaska Chapter in 2001. He is published in several peer-reviewed medical journals, is a review editor on several, and co-author of two textbooks. Additionally, Dr. Demain serves as an active member of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, vice-chair of the Environmental and Occupational Disease interest section and other committees. Lastly, Dr. Demain is an avid fly fisherman, skier, and outdoorsman who has a strong connection to Alaska.
