With nearly 20 years of experience, she brings a deep understanding of the unique culture and pace of Las Vegas to her work. Janet's practice is trauma-informed, and she uses EMDR to help individuals process and heal from past trauma. She has a special passion for helping foster children and is committed to elevating the field of Play Therapy. Janet is a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist and has completed training in Playful EMDR and Theraplay. She is also an Approved AAMFT Supervisor, helping to mentor and supervise the next generation of therapists. Janet's areas of specialization include trauma-informed care, anxiety and depression, adoption and family dynamics, women's issues, and interpersonal neurobiology. She provides guidance and strategies for parenting concerns and is a proud ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. Janet offers public speaking and teaching services, leading educational sessions on Play Therapy, particularly with the adoptee community. She operates a cash-pay practice, with session fees at $160 for a 50-minute session, and accepts limited insurance plans.
