About
They offer mental health and nutrition services to support recovery, practicing from a feminist, health-at-every-size, anti-diet-culture lens. The clinic's co-founders, Katie Gilder and Janelle Zimmerman, created Cultivate to provide weight-neutral and hopeful care for clients working towards eating disorder recovery. They believe recovery is possible and that examining diet-culture and other systems of oppression is crucial to recovery. At Cultivate, clients are welcome to be their whole selves, and the multidisciplinary team offers various modalities, including EMDR, somatic experiencing, and DBT. They have a particular passion for working with adolescents and young adults, bridging the gap between higher levels of care and real-life experiences. Cultivate also supports individuals in solid recovery who want to ensure their therapy and nutrition providers share an anti-diet worldview.
