She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder. With a unique approach tailored to each client's needs, Jan focuses on building a strong and trusting relationship to establish values, overcome self-defeating patterns, and find relief and calm. She works with adults and adolescents (ages 15 and up), including Indiana University students and clients from across the state of Indiana. Jan offers in-person and virtual appointments and has been a member of several professional organizations, including the Academy for Eating Disorders and the National Association of Social Workers. Having personally recovered from an eating disorder, Jan understands the challenges of seeking help and provides consistent, compassionate support to help clients make meaningful, lasting progress.
