About
He takes the time to understand each client's unique history and goals, starting with a collaborative conversation about their situation and narrative. This conversation leads to a thoughtful discussion of treatment goals. As an active participant, James provides feedback and encouragement as clients explore new ways of approaching themselves and their daily lives. He offers a range of services, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), play therapy with children, eclectic and flexible approaches to working with teens, and psychodynamic therapy with adults. James is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at Oregon Health & Science University, a position he has held since July 2024. If you're looking for services and support, James is happy to help you navigate your options or provide referrals if needed.
