Jake believes that everyone is doing the best they can with what they have and that emotional challenges often come from pieces of ourselves that are hurt or misunderstood. They work with clients to explore their identities, develop self-compassion, process trauma, and learn more effective ways to identify and manage their emotions. Through a mix of counseling modalities, Jake helps clients heal and feel better equipped to handle both current challenges and those they may face in the future.
