About
They focus on the whole person, looking at speech, language, and communication development through the lens of the nervous system. Their goal is to understand the root of challenges and create the best path forward, which sometimes includes collaborating with or referring to other providers to ensure each client and family receives the most comprehensive support. They believe parents and caregivers are essential partners in the therapy process. By working on what matters most in daily life, they aim to create lasting, sustainable change. Their approach supports not only speech, language, communication, and social growth, but also greater regulation and ease in everyday life. They integrate attachment theory, trauma-informed care, somatic awareness, myofunctional therapy, and sensory processing into speech-language therapy—creating a safe, connected, and whole-client approach to growth. Inside Out Speech & Language Therapy works with clients who come to them with a wide range of speech, language, communication, feeding, and myofunctional needs. They support clients with difficulties in understanding or expressing language, helping them communicate more effectively. Many clients face sensory or motor feeding challenges that make it hard to eat a variety of foods or coordinate swallowing safely. They also support clients with nervous system dysregulation related to sensory processing differences, developmental experiences, or medical procedures. They honor these differences and work with clients—children, teens, and adults—and their families or caregivers in a collaborative way, supporting them as active participants in the therapy process.
