Independent Living, Inc. is a locally-controlled, nonprofit organization based in Monticello, NY serving Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, and Rockland Counties since 1987. Our goal is to promote universal access and opportunity for people with disabilities of all ages and provide resources to help them make the transition from system-dependency to independence. We strive to eliminate physical and attitudinal barriers and improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities. For over 30 years, our agency has been dedicated to providing a wide range of programs and services to those in need. Through our recipient-based perspective, we have shown cost-effective ways to ensure the well-being of our community.
