Independent Living Center of the North Shore and Cape Ann, Inc.

The Independent Living Center of the North Shore and Cape Ann, Inc. (ILCNSCA) is a service and advocacy center run by and for people with disabilities. We support the struggle for independence and full community participation of individuals with disabilities through a combination of self-advocacy services and collective action. Our mission is to empower people with disabilities to live independently and take part in community life. Our self-advocacy services aid individuals in developing the skills and knowledge needed to achieve personal autonomy. We also organize and support collective action led by people with disabilities to create a supportive and accessible community environment, as well as remove discriminatory barriers.
