Established in 1991, their mission is to promote equality, inclusivity, and independence by empowering all people with disabilities through advocacy, services, programs, and community connection. They offer a wide range of services, including the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC), Developmental Disability Resource Connection (DDRC), Inclusive Recreation: TRAILS, Veteran Directed Care: VOICE, Medicare Information and Help, Low Vision Services, Assistive Technology (AT), ILC Loan Closet, Supported Transportation, and Home Modifications. The Independent Living Center – Kodiak serves the communities of Kodiak and surrounding areas, providing confidential, participant-directed, individually tailored, and wide-ranging services to individuals with disabilities. Their goal is to ensure that individuals have a full understanding of their rights, responsibilities, options, and have the freedom to make their own choices.

Provides one-stop access to information and resources for Alaskans who are aging or experience disabilities and are seeking long-term services and supports.

Inclusive Recreation: TRAILS
