She received her Master’s Degree from Columbia University School of Social Work in 1998 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. With over twenty-two years of experience, Holly has worked with individuals, couples, children, and families addressing various life transitions. She has a particular interest in perinatal mental health and is certified in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International (PMH-C). Holly’s approach to therapy is eclectic, incorporating techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Her practice is trauma-informed, and she utilizes the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) to assess and discuss trauma with her patients. Holly also practices yoga and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance. She believes in the connection between mental health and physical health, encouraging clients to tune into their bodily sensations and emotions to make informed choices. Holly provides a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their challenges and work towards a more balanced and fulfilled life.
