About

HKC is home to 11 independent JCC affiliated day camps, serving families from all over New York City, Long Island, and Rockland and Westchester counties. The camp experience is enhanced through adhering to the mission of providing a safe environment for the campers and camp staff who call their grounds home. HKC has striven to be the foremost location for Jewish day camping in the metropolitan New York region, managing and maintaining over 500 acres across three camp sites. They offer special programs to the summer camps operated by JCCs and YM-YWHAs throughout the region.

About the team: The success of the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds is due to the dedicated Board of Directors and the exemplary staff who work all year long to ensure that the acres of woods, fields, swim complexes, camp shelters, and other buildings are maintained and kept safe.
