Gwinnett Pediatrics is the oldest and most established pediatric practice in Gwinnett County, with its foundation dating back to July 1974 by Dr. Hal Herd. Starting as a solo practitioner in a small office on Old Peachtree Street, Duluth, Georgia, Gwinnett Pediatrics quickly grew, expanding to the adjacent Joan Glancy Hospital in 1975. Here, Dr. Herd developed an intermediate care level nursery and pediatric inpatient service. As the practice continued to grow, new pediatricians were added over the years. Today, Gwinnett Pediatrics proudly serves Sugar Hill and the rest of Gwinnett County with the same commitment to excellence in pediatric care established by Dr. Hal Herd.
