GILD: Group for Independent Learning Disabled is a non-profit collaborative serving the social needs of adults 21 years and older with learning differences that impede their independence. They offer various classes, social gatherings, and events to help members develop new abilities, nurture friendships, and enhance social lives and independence. GILD also provides a network of support for members' parents and families through annual educational events, bimonthly support group meetings, twice-yearly family events, and information on resources. The practice is based in the Baltimore metropolitan area and serves neurodivergent adults and adults with developmental disabilities.
