The Georgia Department of Public Health, East Central Health District, and Richmond County Health Department are committed to the health and development of Georgia’s children. Through Children 1st, we offer no-cost, in-home visits to families with children aged 0-5 to identify those at risk for poor health and developmental outcomes, and link them to appropriate health, developmental and family-support services. We work with public, private and community resources to ensure our state’s children stay in the best possible health. Participation in our services is voluntary and parents may withdraw at any time.
