The Georgia Department of Public Health East Central Health District Glascock County Health Department, aka Children 1st, exists to identify and connect children from birth to age 5 to appropriate health, development and family-support services. By offering no-cost, in-home visits, we help families arrange for the help they need to ensure the best possible health for their children. Our program is voluntary and parents can withdraw at any time. We collaborate with public, private and community resources to provide the highest quality of support for Georgia’s children.
