Georgia Department of Public Health proudly serves the following counties in Georgia: Butts, Carroll, Coweta, Fayette, Heard, Henry, Lamar, Meriwether, Pike, Spalding, Troup, and Upson. They offer a wide range of quality, affordable health care services with clinical programs concentrating on Adult Health, Child Health, and Community Health. Their services include health services such as breast and cervical cancer prevention, dental care, family planning, HIV prevention, immunizations, influenza prevention, and nurse practitioner services. They also provide the WIC program, which is a supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and children. Additionally, they have environmental health offices that monitor and address physical, chemical, and biological factors that prevent injury and illness and promote well-being in the 12 counties they serve.
