The school, now known as Devereux Cares, provides an exemplary education to 48 children and young adults ages 5 through 21. FECA has expanded its mission to support vocational and employment opportunities for individuals with autism, including a partnership with the Devereux Adult Program and critical funding for the Extraordinary Ventures New York initiatives. The organization has retained its acronym while becoming the Foundation for Empowering Citizens with Autism, continuing to support individuals on the autism spectrum. FECA has also established a day habilitation program, provided scholarships, and supported community integration through vans and employment opportunities. Their mission to serve individuals with autism reaches beyond local communities, and they celebrate their programs as a testament to their unwavering commitment to their mission.
