(FAM) is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, offering creative art therapies and social robotics to foster imagination, communication, and life-long learning in older adults and people of all ages with challenges. Founded in 2007, FAM brings its services to clients where they are, serving the people of Pittsburgh, as well as Erie & Harrisburg, PA, and Rochester, Buffalo, and Long Island, NY. Their services include fine art lessons, art therapy, music therapy, dance & movement therapy, multi-sensory sessions, and FAMbots, a social robot-enhanced learning program. FAM's mission is to create an evolved sense of well-being for children and older adults by bringing forth the ageless creative within. They serve a diverse range of clients, including older adults in nursing homes, children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, children and adults on the autism spectrum, the homeless, veterans, and economically challenged families.
