The organization was founded in 1978 and serves as California's largest nonprofit organization serving Latino families with children who have special needs. Fiesta Educativa offers a wide range of services, including family conferences, an autism education program for parents, and partnerships with other organizations to train parents on special education advocacy. They also organize regular 'Fiestas Familiares' in the homes of families to discuss topics such as special education eligibility and access to Regional Center services.
