Have questions?

If you’re wondering if your child needs speech therapy, Excentia Human Services can help. Our experts can assess your child’s needs and provide guidance on the best course of action. Speech therapy is often recommended for autistic children as many of them struggle with social communication. Early intervention is key, as there is a critical period in the brain for language development. Speech therapy can help children to learn effective ways to communicate, leading to greater independence and confidence. Signs your child may need speech therapy include: being very quiet, saying only a few words, or not speaking at all. For more information, visit Excentia Human Services for our comprehensive guide to speech therapy.

At Excentia Human Services, we offer speech therapy to help your child communicate more effectively with others. Our speech therapy services can help your child with nonverbal skills, such as signs or gestures, forming speech in a clearer way, communicating thoughts and feelings, understanding and responding to questions, discerning facial expressions, noticing and understanding body language, and even feeding and swallowing. Our speech therapists have the expertise to help your child reach their full potential.
