Equest Special Riders Inc. is a non-profit organization of trained volunteers providing therapeutic-recreational horseback riding and instruction for persons with physical and mental disabilities. Our students range from adults to the majority of children, who may have never been able to walk, to experience the exhilaration of moving freely atop a horse. Through specialized games and the horses’ gait, riders gain coordination and improved self-confidence. We invite you to watch one of our sessions and see the positive impact of horseback riding for yourself.
