Founded by Shelbie Auberry, LCSW, ASDCS, the practice was created out of necessity to address the failures of corporate, compliance-driven mental health systems. Enchanted Healing Hub exists to provide compassionate and personalized therapy services, focusing on those who lack access to care. Their mission is to disrupt harmful mental health systems and provide care that actually supports healing. They deliver trauma-informed, neuro-affirming services that center autonomy, dignity, and lived experience, especially for people who have been marginalized, criminalized, misdiagnosed, or ignored by traditional models of care. The practice is grounded in the understanding that mental health cannot be separated from trauma, disability, poverty, racism, gender-based violence, incarceration, or systemic neglect. Enchanted Healing Hub accepts Medicaid and commercial insurance plans and offers sliding-scale options when available, recognizing access to care as a justice issue. Their work does not end at symptom management; they advocate, educate, and push for systemic change to prevent harm in the first place. This approach is not 'soft' care, but rather accountable, honest, and human care.
