About
Emily is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education and a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and School Counseling from Spring Arbor University, where she graduated in 2023. She has experience working with children, teens, and adults, providing personalized support to help clients navigate a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, and eating disorders. Emily is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a research-based approach to treating trauma and other emotional difficulties. She creates a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. Emily serves individuals aged 16 and above, as well as couples aged 18 and above, at the Byron Center Campus. She is accepting new patients and offers phone and telehealth sessions.
