With 22 years of experience serving youth and families, she is dedicated to empowering others to access their most authentic selves and journeying alongside people as they create a purposeful life that is meaningful for them. Emerald specializes in working with individuals and families to promote healing from physical, emotional, sexual, intergenerational, and racial traumas. Her approach incorporates somatic practices, movement, dance, art, writing, and authentic processing to accommodate the different learning styles that people embody. She has a strong background in working with marginalized communities and complex trauma, and is passionate about serving children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Emerald's values are centered around love, interconnectedness, and advocacy for the oppressed. She is a believer in Jesus Christ and comes from a strong bloodline of perseverance as a second-generation Filipina.
