Dr. Kathryn Ellerbeck is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and the co-Director of KU’s HRSA funded Leadership in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) Program. She is a developmental pediatrician in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, specializing in the diagnosis and management of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. Dr. Ellerbeck received her MD and BA degrees from the University of Missouri, Kansas City and also completed a combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency in Kansas City (Consortium for Health Education/Children’s Mercy Hospital), a residency in Preventive Medicine at Johns Hopkins, and a fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at the University of Maryland. She is an expert in the field of developmental disabilities and leads the major site for interdisciplinary team diagnosis of children with developmental disability in the state of Kansas.
